Device Permissions

eTrackly may request the following permissions: • Camera: To take photos of receipts (optional) • Photo Library: To attach receipt images to transactions (optional) • Location: To tag transaction locations (optional) • Notifications: To send budget alerts and reminders (optional) • Biometric Authentication: To secure the app with Face ID or Touch ID (optional) You can deny any of these permissions, and the app will continue to function with reduced features.

Data Security

Your data is protected by: • Local storage only (no cloud transmission) • Optional biometric authentication (Face ID/Touch ID) • Optional PIN code protection • iOS/Android device encryption

Data Export

You have full control over your data: • Export your data in CSV or PDF format at any time • Create local backups of your data • Import data from backups • Complete transparency of all stored information

Data Deletion

You can delete your data at any time: • Delete all app data through the app settings • Uninstalling the app removes all data from your device • No residual data is kept anywhere

Payment & Subscription Data

When you purchase a subscription through the App Store:

  • All payment processing is handled exclusively by Apple through the App Store
  • We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.)
  • We only receive confirmation of your subscription status from Apple to unlock premium features
  • Your subscription status is stored locally on your device
  • Apple's privacy policy governs how they handle your payment data

Third-Party Services

eTrackly integrates with the following third-party services:

  • Apple App Store - For app distribution and in-app purchases. Apple processes subscription payments and provides us with purchase verification.

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not use any SDKs that collect user data for marketing purposes.

Children's Privacy

eTrackly does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is intended for general audiences interested in personal finance management.

Data Retention

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, data retention is entirely in your control. Your data remains on your device until you choose to delete it or uninstall the app. We do not retain any of your personal or financial data on our servers.

Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Access: View all your data within the app at any time
  • Portability: Export your data in CSV or PDF format
  • Deletion: Delete all your data through app settings
  • Control: Manage subscriptions through App Store settings
